Call Meeting to Order The meeting was called to order by Evelise Ribeiro.
Opening Remarks by Evelise Ribeiro that upon arrival of Lieutenant Joann Peterson of IVE, we should move to Executive Session.

Agenda amended to have IVE present during Executive Session. Motion made by Robert Spirito; seconded by Catherine Gootkin; approved unanimously.
C. Approval of Minutes Motion made by Mary Blair to accept the minutes; seconded by Sarah McIver; approved unanimously.
D. Coordinator Presentations
Motion made by Sarah McIver to accept the Coordinator’s Report; seconded by Shirley Wayne Washington; approved unanimously.
E. Open Floor
No Remarks. Guest: Mr. Paul D. Smith.
F. Subcommittee Reports
Bylaws Committee presented an amendment to Section 3.6 Elections.
There was discussion on the subject. The Bylaws Committee has several areas that are being considered for revision. The timeframe of the election prompted the prioritization of what was to be submitted for full Board approval.
The Committee requires more time, since there is more work to be done, and more meetings are needed.
Underlined section replaced ( 11/08/07) with:
“Bylaws Committee presented an amendment to Section 3.6 Elections.
There was discussion on the subject. The Committee is looking at several areas of the Bylaws and will require more time to complete its work. The Committee chose to prioritize revision of Section 3.6 because of the timing of the upcoming election of officers.”
Robert Spirito motioned for a vote to be taken to adopt the proposed amendment as submitted. Sarah McIver seconded the motion.
The vote results were: 10 Ayes, 1 Nay, 1 Abstention
The revised amendment to the CRB Bylaws are as follows as read by Evelise Ribeiro:
3.6 Officers of the Board
The Board shall elect an Executive (Officers of the Board) comprised of a Chair, Vice-Chair and Secretary, bi-annually from its membership. Each Officer shall be elected to serve a two year term. An Officer who has served two consecutive terms may not stand for re-election until a full two year term has passed.
In election years, nominations shall be made at the November meeting of the full Board. Election, by secret ballot, shall take place at the December meeting of the full Board. Officers shall commence their terms on January 1 of the following year.
In the event of a vacancy of any office at any time during the term, a Special Election shall be held. Nominations to fill the vacated office shall be made at the second regular monthly meeting of the Board following the vacancy. Voting, by secret ballot, shall take place at the third regular monthly meeting of the Board following the vacancy. The newly elected Officer(s) shall take office immediately. If the time remaining between commencement of this interim term and the next regular election of Officers is greater than six months, the interim term shall be considered a full term with respect to the term limitation described in the first paragraph of this section (3.6).

Catherine Gootkin motioned for Executive Session; seconded by William Bixby; unanimously approved.
IVE detailed report to be delivered in Executive Session. Lieutenant Peterson reports that between 9/2 and 10/8/07, a total of 16 new case numbers were assigned with another three to be added after 10/8/07.
Motion to move out of Executive Session was made by Robert Spirito; seconded by Barbara Carroll; unanimously approved.
